ThaiBev is one of Thailand’s leading beverage producers and among the largest in Asia,
operating across four business segments: spirits, beer, non-alcoholic beverages, and food. In
2019, the company ranked first, global industry leader, in the beverage category of the Dow
Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI) for the second consecutive year. ThaiBev was the first
company in Asia to be named beverage industry leader two years in a row and continued as a
member of the DJSI World for a third consecutive year and of the DJSI Emerging Markets for a

fourth. These achievements are detailed annually in the company’s Sustainability Report under
the section titled “Social Sustainability, Care, and Sharing.”

Thai Beverage Public Company Limited began publishing sustainability reports in 2012 (with
online versions available starting in 2016), prepared in accordance with the core option of the
Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Standards. The purpose of this report is “to communicate to
our stakeholders key issues in four facets; namely, economy, society, environment and arts and
culture aspects. Its intention is to present our business strategies, embracing King Bhumibol
Adulyadej's Sufficiency Economy Philosophy, which has continuously been put to use in the

sustainable development of ThaiBev and companies in the ThaiBev Group ("ThaiBev Group"),
consistent with the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations.” 186

In 2019, the company began studying and applying the Integrated Reporting (IR) approach,
which presents sustainability in a comprehensive manner by linking operational performance
with value creation for shareholders and all stakeholder groups. Based on the numerical data
from ThaiBev Sustainability Reports from 2016 to 2023, the company allocated an average of
approximately 1.8% of its annual profit to social development and support initiatives (see Table
9.11). These contributions are categorized into five areas: (1) community and social
