or the percentage of target groups (e.g., persons with disabilities, the elderly) whose
quality of life improves. Additional metrics may include user satisfaction levels and

led to policy uptake, scaling by government agencies, or inclusion in national
                          development plans.
                       6) Overall social impact index of the program, aligned with the Sustainable Development

                   11) Call for Applications
                       1) Application & Screening: Grant opportunities should be widely announced. Selection
will be conducted by social entrepreneurs and academic researchers. Initial screening
uses a questionnaire, shortlisting up to 20 candidates for 1-hour in-depth interviews.
                       2) Funding Allocation: Top 3 candidates receive full research funding (up to 3M THB/year).
Remaining 7 may receive seed funding up to 100K THB for project development.
                       3) Eligibility: Applicants need not be first-time grantees, but proposed projects must
build on prior NRCT-funded research (see illustration).

                       4) Implementation: NRCT may assign execution to a social enterprise, university, research
institute, or experienced legal entity or consortium. The incubation period is 6 months,
                          following a defined step-by-step process.
