                   9) Management and Support Mechanisms
                       1) Support should be provided through a joint funding mechanism involving public
agencies, such as NIA, NRCT (วช.), and NSTDA, in partnership with private sector

                          organizations.
                       2) Establish a Strategic Steering Committee composed of representatives from social
enterprises (SEs), researchers, policymakers, and community stakeholders to guide
                          the program.
                       3) Develop a monitoring and evaluation (M&E) system that measures social impact
                          outcomes.

The overall goal of the Social Enterprise Technology and Innovation R&D Program is to
generate positive social impact and ensure that research outputs are applied meaningfully
in real-world contexts, whether at the national, provincial, or community level.

Establishing appropriate key performance indicators (KPIs) will be essential for evaluating
project success. These indicators should measure both social impact and the extent to
which technologies and innovations are adopted in practice.

                   10) Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the Social Enterprise R&D Program
When selecting KPIs, they should be aligned with the operational scale of each project, as
the scope of impact and practical application will vary. Key indicators include:

                       1) Number of social issue dimensions addressed by the project: Measures how many
areas of social concern the project covers, such as environment, education, public
                          health, etc.
                       2) Financial sustainability of the social enterprise (SE) after the program concludes
                          (within 5 years).
                       3) Dissemination of project outputs across various media platforms, reflecting the reach
and public visibility of the research and innovations.

                                                                                                          xxv
