enhancing the business capacity and financial sustainability of social enterprises (SEs).
2) Develop prototype models for applying technology in SEs and promote effective
upscaling of successful applications.
3) Promote research and market development for vulnerable groups such as the poor,
persons with disabilities, and the elderly.
4) Promote research and innovation to strengthen the social innovation ecosystem,
including connections between business sectors, universities, government agencies,
and target communities.
5) Conduct research on public policies and social regulations aimed at using social
enterprises as a vehicle for resolving social issues.
6) Promote the organization of on-site and online forums to present research findings
and recognize outstanding innovations by social enterprises. These platforms aim to
raise awareness among the public and government agencies, encouraging wider
participation in supporting social enterprise research and ensuring its practical
application.
7) Encourage collaboration with other partners engaged in science, technology, and
social innovation who share similar missions and objectives, with the goal of
strengthening the overall capacity and resilience of social enterprises.
3) Eligible Grant Recipients
1) Social enterprises in Thailand, as defined earlier in this plan.
2) Researchers, technologists, and innovators working in collaboration with social
enterprises, where the social enterprise is a co-recipient of the grant.
3) Community enterprises seeking to upgrade their operations to become registered
social enterprises but are facing technological or market-related challenges that
require improvement.
4) Supporting institutions, such as educational institutions, foundations, or business
