Social Enterprises Established by Companies within the PTT Group

Sarn Palung Social Enterprise Company Limited (SPSE) was established to support social
enterprise initiatives led by PTT and its affiliated companies. Its mission is to collaboratively
address social, community, and environmental challenges while promoting meaningful local
employment grounded in sustainability principles. SPSE also aligns with government policy
encouraging private companies and state enterprises to play a more active role in supporting
social enterprise development. The company was officially registered on September 8, 2017,

with a registered capital of 10 million baht. It is designated as a company that operates to serve
social purposes, selling goods and services without the aim of maximizing profits. Its vision is
to become “a nationally recognized model social enterprise.” Its mission is to develop
sustainable social enterprises that tangibly support community, social, and environmental
development by leveraging the strengths and expertise of the PTT Group. One of its core targets
is to create jobs and generate income for 800 individuals from vulnerable groups, including
people with disabilities, the elderly, the unemployed, farmers, and local communities, by the

                  year 2030.

As shown in Table 9.3, PTT Public Company Limited is the largest shareholder, holding a 20%
stake. All other shareholders are subsidiaries or affiliates in which PTT has ownership. Beyond
these listed shareholders, SPSE also collaborates with other PTT-affiliated entities not directly
involved in the energy sector (such as Café Amazon), as well as public sector organizations, state
enterprises, and academic institutions including the Royal Thai Navy, the Forest Industry
Organization, Mahidol University, and Ratchasuda College. Its partnerships further extend to
private companies outside the PTT Group and a variety of civil society organizations, as detailed

                  in Table 9.4.
