7.3 Intermediary Organizations

Intermediary organizations play a pivotal role in linking downstream social enterprises with
funding sources and support mechanisms. These organizations often act as incubators or
facilitators, matching funders with social entrepreneurs, supporting public fundraising, building
the capacity of social entrepreneurs to design and manage projects, and fostering networks
that encourage the exchange of knowledge, goods, and services. These networks help
strengthen the long-term sustainability of the social enterprise ecosystem. One such
