Designation of Social Enterprise Day
July 1 of every year is designated as Social Enterprise Day to raise public awareness and promote
the activities of social enterprises. Furthermore, the week following this day is designated as
Social Enterprise Week. During this week, the government is encouraged to implement projects
and organize events that align with the objectives of Social Enterprise Day.
Reporting Requirements
Social enterprises are obligated to submit performance reports and information regarding
stakeholder participation to the Minister by the end of April and October of each fiscal year. The
Minister is responsible for overseeing social enterprises and holds the authority to request
reports and related documents if deemed necessary. The Minister is also empowered to evaluate
the operations of social enterprises and, where necessary, may issue orders requiring them to
correct their operational methods.
